Renewable Gas – Australian Gas Networks
This season, the MasterChef kitchen is cooking with renewable gas proudly supplied by Australian Gas Networks, with its project partners. With AGN’s renewable gas, the MasterChef kitchen showcases the future of cooking. Renewable gas is different to natural gas because it can be made from renewable energy sources like organic waste or water and renewable electricity. Renewable gas can be mixed with natural gas and is already being used in some places around Australia and overseas. Every contestant in the Centenary Hall kitchen cooked on 100% biomethane, a type of renewable gas, supplied by AGN’s project partners.
