12 days of Christmas 2022
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the basis on which you can participate in the 12 days of Christmas 2022 (“Competition”). By entering the Competition, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should not enter the Competition and you will not be eligible to win the prize. Entry is by via form submission on https://arsenal.com/juniorgunners/news/12-days-of-christmas-2223 (the “Arsenal Website”) or the official Arsenal app (the “App”).
1. HOW TO ENTER: The Competition period runs from 1st December 2022 (“Start Date”)until 12th December 2022 at 23:59 (UK time) (“Closing Date”) (the “Competition Period”). The Competition shall run each day throughout the Competition Period outlined in Clause 1, with a prize draw taking place daily until the Closing Date. To enter any day’s Competition you must submit the Form and enter the Competition for that day. The instructions for entry will be outlined on the Arsenal Website. To enter any day’s prize draw during in respect of the Competition, you will need to:
i. visit the Arsenal Website or the App (which shall make available the full details of the Competition and a link to these Terms and Conditions);
ii. correctly answer an Arsenal question(s) and input your details (which shall include your full name, date of birth, email address and membership number) to the competition form provided (the “Form”); and
iii. submit the Form before 11:59 PM (UK time) on the day of the relevant prize draw (the “End Time”). No entries will be accepted after the Closing Date, and no day’s prize draw can be entered into after its End Time.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Entry is only open to parents and guardians of paid Arsenal Junior Gunners members aged 0 – 18. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can participate in the Prize Draw in compliance with local laws and regulations. Any entry submitted in breach of local laws and regulations shall be automatically null and void. Arsenal also reserves the right to determine that it cannot accept an entry or provide a prize due to local laws and regulations.
3. Only one entry per person is allowed per day of the Competition.
4. Employees of The Arsenal Football Club Plc (company number 109244) (“Arsenal”) or members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.
5. Entry is via the Arsenal Website and the App only. No additional purchase is required to enter but you will require email and internet access to enter the Competition. No refund may be claimed for any expenses incurred relating to the use of an email account or internet connection for the purpose of entering the Competition.
6. PRIZE: As described above, there shall be a new prize draw available to enter every day of the Competition Period. The prize draw for each day is available for entry for 24 hours only, starting at 12.00 AM and closing at 11.59 PM for each respective day (UK time). The following prizes shall be available to be won (by the number of winners indicated) in respect of the Competition for the following days in December 2022 (each individually a “Prize” and collectively referred to as the “Prizes”):
A. December 1st – One (1) signed Arsenal 2022/23 Shirt to be won by three (3) winners
B. December 2nd – One (1) Arsenal bar scarf, to be won by ten (10) winners
C. December 3rd – Two (2) Junior Gunners and two (2) Adult general admission ticket to Arsenal v West Ham men’s match scheduled to be played at Emirates Stadium on Monday 26 December 2022 kick-off 20:00 (time and date subject to change), to be won by one (1) winner.
D. December 4th – One (1) StatSports Apex Athlete Series GPS performance tracker, to be won by three (3) winners
E. December 5th – One (1) Arsenal 2022/23 Home shirt, to be won by ten (10) winners
F. December 6th – One (1) Arsenal Christmas jumper, to be won by five (5) winners
G. December 7th – One (1) bruised banana pyjama set, to be won by ten (10) winners
H. December 8th – One (1) Arsenal 2022/23 Third shirt, to be won by ten (10) winners
I. December 9th – One (1) invite for a place for a child aged between ages 10-17 on an Arsenal Football Development course currently scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom Summer 2023, to be won by one (1) winner (full details, including how to book, dates, times, and location(s), shall be confirmed with the applicable winner)
J. December 10th – One (1) Arsenal Stocking, to be won by ten (10) winners
K. December 11th – One (1) of five (5) pairs of general admission tickets to Arsenal Women v Chelsea Women, scheduled to be played at Emirates Stadium on Sunday 15 January kick-off 14:00 (time and date subject to change)
L. December 12th – One (1) personalised video message from an Arsenal player (selected by Arsenal in its sole discretion), to be won by one (1) winner;
7. The Prizes are limited to the Prizes themselves and do not include personal expenditure, transport costs and other incidental costs other than those specifically included.
8. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the Prize where applicable. Where applicable to the Prize(s) or parts of the Prize(s), Arsenal’s terms and conditions at https://www.arsenal.com/ticket-membership-terms and https://arsenaldirect.arsenal.com/termsAndConditions shall apply.
9. SELECTION OF WINNER: The winner(s) will be picked at random from all eligible and correct entries received between the Start Date and the Closing Date.
10. The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided on entry within 14 days of the Closing Date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to confirm details for delivery of the Prize within 14 days, an alternative winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible and correct entries.
11. Unless otherwise notified by Arsenal, the Prizes will be delivered to the winner within 30 days of confirmation of the winner’s address for delivery of the Prizes.
12. PUBLICITY AND PERSONAL DATA: If a winner is aged 18 or over, the winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the Competition and Arsenal may use the winner's name and image and his/her comments relating to the Competition and/or the Prizes for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid.
13. Details of the winners’ names and counties will be available on request for one month after the Closing Date by writing to Arsenal (including providing a stamped self-addressed envelope and stating the name and closing date of the Competition) at the address set out below.
14. Arsenal will use entrants’ personal details for the purposes of administering the Competition and awarding the Prize. More information about how Arsenal handles personal data is available at http://www.arsenal.com/privacy-policy.
15. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed or incomplete entries, or for electronic entries or winning notifications that are not received or delivered (for any reason including as a consequence of communication or network failures). Any such entries will be deemed void.
16. Arsenal reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Competition or these Terms and Conditions if circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
17. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to be invalid and the Prize will not be awarded in respect of such entry. Arsenal reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to exclude any entries which it believes to be invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
18. Arsenal’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Competition (including the Prizes) and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. Except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any negligence of Arsenal, to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Arsenal nor any of its officers, employees or agents shall be responsible for (whether in tort, contract or otherwise):
i. any loss, damage or injury to you and/or any third party or to any property belonging to you or any third party in connection with the Competition and/or the Prize (including the winner’s receipt or use of the same), resulting from any cause whatsoever; or
ii. any loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity or any indirect, economic or consequential losses whatsoever and howsoever caused.
20. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: Please note that these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. This means that your entry into the Competition and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and Arsenal both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with any such dispute or claim.
21. SPIRIT OF THE COMPETITION: If you attempt to compromise the integrity or proper operation of the Competition by cheating or committing fraud in any way, Arsenal reserves the right to render your entry invalid, seek damages from you and ban you from participating in any of their future competitions.
