Guess the attraction from its TripAdvisor review

The people behind these 7 reviews weren't happy, but can you tell which Plymouth locations they were disappointed by?

‘It’s a piece of grass with a story. I didn’t expect much and I wasn’t disappointed. A large expanse of tarmac plus a monument overlooking the sea. No disrespect to those commemorated, but it’s not a highlight.’

‘[It] encompasses and is surrounded by its history but has been allowed to slip into a squalor of alcohol induced revelry and a cacophony of hot hatch or motorcycle boy racers thundering along the cobbled streets. There are many interesting shops and restaurants but the atmosphere every evening is ruined by the loud music emanating from the many bars and pubs surrounded by groups of drinkers with no social responsibility. It is a travesty that this historic city, surrounded by outstanding natural beauty cannot manage its heritage more responsibly.’

‘The tower is nothing. The history of the tower may interest you, but there is nothing else. Good place for sunbathing.’

‘It stands as a marker and magnet for most the unimaginative, jarring and mindbendingly mediocre examples of British provincial architecture that Plymouth planners constantly allow to be inflicted upon us.’

‘Personally, the water was really cold and it was salty. I didn’t ask to swim in the sea, i wanted to swim where it was clean (enough) and “warm” ish. After jumping into the pool and tasting all that water, me and my partner honestly felt really sick and because of the temperature of the pool, that didn’t help either.’

‘All I can say is.. It was really boring. Me and my partner left feeling very disappointed. There’s nothing magnificent to see. The only thing that stood out was the Mammoth really. They could have put a little teddy Sid on top or something, that would be more funny and exciting for the kids if they’ve seen the Ice Age films. I know they may want to be serious about the history but nothing wrong with adding a little fun to things. If you want to take pictures it’s quite hard to get good ones as most rooms are very dark. We won’t be visiting again.’

‘By urban standards it's quite a nice place to go with young children. However, dog waste, litter, broken glass and other unsavoury delights spoil the picture.’
