OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
This Crayola Creative Dragon Stories Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by Crayola LLC, 1100 Church Lane, Easton, Pennsylvania, 18040 ("Crayola") [Sponsor]. None of Universal City Development Partners, LTD. d/b/a Universal Orlando Resort ("Universal Orlando"), Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram, or their shareholders, affiliates, or subsidiaries has offered or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way or shall have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes starts on May 13, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. Eastern Time ("ET"), and ends on July 31, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. ET (the "Sweepstakes Period"). One (1) potential Winner will be selected via a random drawing from among the eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Potential Winner will be notified by e-mail within three (3) business days following the drawing.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Crayola, Crayola Experience, Universal Orlando, their respective shareholders, parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and production agencies, and their immediate family members (defined as spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, and the "steps" of each) and persons living in the same household of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and winner is responsible for payment of such taxes. Entrance into this Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Crayola's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein, including but not limited to U.S. residency and age limitations. Crayola's computer shall be the official Sweepstakes Period clock.
HOW TO ENTER: You may enter by visiting www.crayola.com/dragonstories ("Website") and following the instructions to complete the required fields of the Crayola Creative Dragon Stories Sweepstakes entry form in full.
Please Note: The content of the form answers and the story you create and submit with your completed Crayola Creative Dragon Stories Sweepstakes entry form will not be judged and therefore will not increase or decrease your chances of winning.
Limit one (1) entry per unique email used to enter per person throughout the Sweepstakes Period (i.e., a maximum of one (1) entry per person via the Website). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. Data charges may apply if accessing the website from a mobile device to participate in this Sweepstakes. Entrants are encouraged to check their wireless carrier for mobile phone capabilities and pricing plan details.
By submitting an entry, the entrant consents to being contacted by phone, e-mail or text message, as applicable, if selected as the potential winner. All entries, whether or not selected as the potential winner, become the property of Crayola [Sponsor] and will not be acknowledged or returned. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter, and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of said e-mail account at the time of submission will be considered the entrant and required to comply with these Official Rules. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Use of any automated system and use of any other devices to subvert the entry process to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification (and all associated entries will not be considered). The potential Winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of said social media or e-mail account.
Your entry may not contain any content that Crayola [Sponsor], in its sole discretion, determines to:
- be overtly vulgar, offensive, sexually explicit, profane or pornographic;
- be derogatory of any race, ancestry, place of origin, color, ethnic origin, citizenship, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, family status or disability; endorses any form of hate or hate group; defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people, products or companies;
- be violent or promote the use of alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or weapons; promotes unsafe activities;
- promote any political agenda or message;
- contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including music, lyrics, or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media) without permission;
- contain third-party trademarks, logos, trade dress or insignia (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors), including brand names of products owned by others without permission;
- contain any personal identification, such as persons' names, e-mail addresses, street addresses or license plate numbers;
- communicate messages inconsistent with the positive image of Crayola's name and/or any of its brands;
- contain any material that violates or infringes another's rights, including but not limited to material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
- include or refer to any third parties, including but not limited to minors, celebrities and friends or family members who have not authorized such inclusion or reference; or
- violate any law.
Crayola [Sponsor] reserves the right to not accept any entry which determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, does not meet the above criteria or is otherwise offensive or is not in keeping with Crayola's image and reputation.
PRIZE: There will be one (1) Prize (“Prize”) awarded. Prize winner (“Winner”) will receive a five (5) day, four (4) night trip for Winner and up to three (3) guests (“Guest(s)”) to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida (“Trip”).
Trip will include round trip economy class air transportation for each Winner and Guest from a major commercial airport near Winner’s home (as determined by Universal Orlando in its sole discretion) to Orlando, Florida*; four (4) nights’ standard hotel accommodation (one room, quadruple occupancy, room and tax only) at Universal Terra Luna Resort or at another Universal Orlando Resort hotel (as determined by Universal Orlando in its sole discretion); non-exclusive ground transportation to and from airport and hotel in Orlando, Florida*; and Universal Orlando 3-Park 3-Day Park-to-Park PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Tickets for admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks, Universal Volcano Bay water theme park, plus one (1) day admission to Universal Epic Universe, for Winner and Guests.
The maximum approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Trip is Four Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Seven and 88/100 Dollars ($4,987.88).
Trip must occur from September 1, 2025 – September 1, 2026 or Prize will be forfeited. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, holiday, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. Travel dates are subject to Universal Orlando and Sponsor approval. Reservations are subject to availability. Trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to intended departure date. If Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of the Prize with fewer than the allotted number of Guests or no Guests, the Prize will be awarded to Winner and each participating Guest and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption. If Winner is between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-one (21), Winner must be accompanied by an adult Guest of at least twenty-one (21) years of age in order to check into the hotel. Unless child or ward of Winner or one of the allotted Guests, each Guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the Winner. ARV of Prize may vary depending upon the points of departure, ground transportation, and/or airline fare fluctuations; any difference between stated ARV and final ARV of Prize will not be awarded. Prize consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, baggage, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of Winner. Winner is responsible for any air travel taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, and security charges. Winner and Guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e. valid photo identification, etc.) prior to travel. Once issued, tickets are non-transferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open tickets may not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. Travel arrangements must be made through Universal Orlando.
* If potential Winner is a Florida resident, air transportation may be substituted with another method of transportation by Universal Orlando in its sole discretion.
In connection with any visit to Universal Orlando Resort, please be advised that Universal’s policies, CDC guidelines, and the recommendations of health officials must be followed. In addition, guests should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before visiting any Universal destination. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19, and Universal cannot guarantee that any person will not be exposed during a visit.
All parts of the prize are subject to availability and blackout dates, and subject to change without written notice or warning. Should any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of a party, whether or not existing, known, foreseen or foreseeable at the time this promotion occurs, render the redemption or fulfilment of some or all of the prize delayed, hindered, adversely affected, impracticable, or impossible, Universal Orlando Resort in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to evaluate and make modifications to the redemption and fulfillment processes and timelines for the prize, which may include but is not limited to providing additional time for redemption and/ or fulfillment, or offering experiences and items of an equivalent or greater value.
Universal City Development Partners, Ltd. d/b/a Universal Orlando Resort (“Universal Orlando”) is a prize provider only in this promotion, is not a sponsor of this promotion and is not responsible for the administration of the promotion, the collection of entries, or the selection of any potential Winner. Any disputes, claims, and causes of action against Universal Orlando arising out of or relating to any person’s use of or participation in any prize provided by Universal Orlando shall be resolved by applying the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, Florida. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
WINNER SELECTION, PRIZE CLAIM, AND ODDS: A random drawing will be conducted on or about August 15, 2025 to select one (1) potential Winner from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Drawing will be conducted by Crayola [Sponsor], whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner will be notified via email from staycreative@crayola.com or social media direct message from Crayola [Sponsor] within three (3) business days following selection of Winner with instructions on how to claim the Prize. The confirmed Winner will be announced on Crayola's social media platforms and Crayola.com. Winner agrees to the release of his or her name, likeness, and/or entry(ies) for potential publicity purposes, where permitted by law. Crayola LLC shall have no liability for Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the potential Winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, declines to accept the Prize, or if Crayola is unable to contact the potential Winner within three (3) business days, or in the event that a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited, and in Crayola's sole discretion, the Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner and Crayola will have no liability of any kind to the disqualified Winner. The Winner may be required to furnish proof of identification. Before being declared the Winner, the potential Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and IRS Form W-9 within three (3) business days from the date of contact from Crayola or its representative and may be required to sign a media release form at the time of acceptance, or its representative, or the Prize may, in Crayola's sole discretion, be forfeited, and in Crayola's sole discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT CRAYOLA'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. Winner may not assign, sell, or otherwise transfer Prize to another person. No cash redemptions will be allowed. No prize substitutions are allowed.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Crayola [Sponsor] is not responsible for: (i) electronic transmission or entries or social media posts that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected, or not received by Crayola for any reason; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, or for deletion, theft, or destruction of, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network, or software; (iv) causes beyond Crayola's reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes; (v) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (vi) any typographical or other error in any printing or advertising relating to the Sweepstakes, in the administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the Winner; or (vii) cheating or fraud by any entrant. All incomplete or non-conforming entries will be disqualified.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to any printing, administrative, human, or other error of any kind, transmission failure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Crayola [Sponsor] that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, or if the Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Crayola reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes without notice, at its sole discretion to award the Prize in a random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect entries received prior to the act requiring such termination. Crayola reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or who acts in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner. Crayola's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CRAYOLA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
By entering, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release, defend, and hold harmless Crayola LLC, Universal Orlando, Trymark Consulting Group, LLC, Facebook or Instagram and their respective shareholders, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, and employees of each of the forgoing (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense whatsoever arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, and/or use/misuse of the Prize (if awarded to them), including, without limitation, any liability associated with right to privacy and release of personal information online or injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the Prize. By accepting the Prize, the winner acknowledges that Crayola has neither made, nor is in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or any portion thereof (including any travel or activity related thereto).
DISPUTES/VENUE/GOVERNING LAW: By participating, entrants agree that (a) any and all disputes, claim, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes or the Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal, state, or local court, (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to the actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including but not limited to costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees, and (c) to the extent allowed by applicable law, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and/or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants' rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Crayola in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and constructed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In the event that there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Any personally-identifiable information collected during entrant's participation in this Sweepstakes will be collected by Crayola and used by Crayola, its affiliates and agents, only for the purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules, and in accordance with any opt-ins an entrant may have agreed to, and according to any applicable terms and conditions available at www.crayola.com and https://www.crayola.com/privacy.
RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU: By entering this Sweepstakes, you hereby grant to Crayola [Sponsor] and its affiliates, licensees, successors, and assigns an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, distribute, and display your responses to the Crayola Creative Dragon Stories Sweepstakes online form, ("UGC") in whole or in part, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
By submitting UGC, you represent and warrant that: Your UGC is an original work of authorship and does not violate any third party's proprietary or intellectual property rights. You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to grant the rights granted herein, including, but not limited to, permissions from any individuals who appear in your UGC. If your UGC infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Crayola.
You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crayola from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs, or expense, which Crayola may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party's right.
GENERAL: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of Crayola, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Entrants waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules. In the event that, due to technical, typographical, mechanical, human, or other errors, more than one (1) person is notified as the potential Winner, a random drawing from among all such notified entrants will be held to determine the actual potential Winner.
