Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Ball Squad Trials 2025

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set out the basis on which you can enter the Arsenal Ball Squad Trials prize draw (the “Draw”) for the chance to win the opportunity for a Junior Gunner Member (aged 12-16) to participate in the Arsenal Ball Squad Trials 2025 (the “Trials”). By entering the Draw, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should not enter the Draw and you will not be eligible to win the Prize. Entry is only via online submission at https://www.arsenal.com/juniorgunners/news/apply-202526-ball-squad-trials (the “Website”).

1. ENTRY PERIOD: The start date for entries is 1 May 2025 (UK time) (“Start Date”). The closing date for entries is 5 May 2025 at 23:59 (UK time) (“Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Draw.

2. TO ENTER: To enter the Draw, you need to visit the Website, fill in the registration form with all the required information and submit the completed form by no later than the Closing Date. If successful in the Draw, entrants will need to complete and return a separate RSVP form within 14 days of receipt in order to progress to the Trials.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Entry is open to parents and guardians (the “Entrant(s)”) on behalf of paid Junior Gunners Members who are: (a) residents of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland only; and (b) who will be aged 12-16 years old during the 2025/2026 football season. All participating Junior Gunners Members must be at least 12 years old on 31 August 2025 and no older than 16 years old on 31 August 2025. Only one entry per person is allowed.

4. Consent must be obtained from the Junior Gunners Member’s parent or guardian prior to entry and the parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. Winning Junior Gunner Members will also be required to supply a completed parental/legal guardian consent form in accordance with Arsenal’s directions in order to take part in the Trials. Winning Junior Gunners Members will be required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in the Trials.

5. Employees of The Arsenal Football Club Limited (company number 109244) (“Arsenal”) or members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Draw.

6. No purchase is required to enter but you will require email and internet access to enter the Draw. No refund may be claimed for any expenses incurred relating to the use of an email account or internet connection for the purpose of entering the Draw.

7. PRIZE: A maximum of 100 entrants will be selected at random (the “Winners”) from the eligible and correct entries to be invited to take part in the Arsenal Ball Squad Trials (the “Trials”) at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 27 May 2025 (the “Prize”). An RSVP form will be sent to the Winners and the Winners must return the completed RSVP form no later than 23.59 on 21 May 2025 (“RSVP Deadline”). Those applicants who accept the Prize and return the required RSVP form by the RSVP Deadline, will be eligible to participate in the Trials together with other attendees who may be invited to the Trials at Arsenal’s sole discretion (together, the “Participants”). The Trials will last one full day during which all Participants will be scored anonymously by a team of Arsenal staff and agency staff in accordance with the Ball Squad Assessment Criteria on the Website. At the conclusion of the Trials, 20 Participants will be selected to be members of the Arsenal Ball Squad for the 2025/2026 football season based on their assessment score and those 20 members of the Arsenal Ball Squad will have full membership of the Junior Gunners for the 2025/2026 season paid for by Arsenal.

8. If the Prize requires the Winner(s) to travel, it is the responsibility of the Winner(s) to ensure they have a valid passport and to obtain relevant visas and vaccinations for their travel. All Participants will need parental/guardian permission or accompaniment.

9. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered if the Trials cannot go ahead or the Prize cannot be awarded for reasons beyond Arsenal’s control. All costs and expenses not included within the Prize (including but not limited to travel costs) are the responsibility of the Participants and/or their parent or guardian.

10. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the Prize where applicable.

11. SELECTION OF WINNER: The Winner(s) will be picked at random from all eligible and correct entries received between the Start Date and the Closing Date.

12. The Winner(s) will be notified within 48 hours of the Closing Date using the contact details provided. If a Winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or does not complete and return the required RSVP form by the RSVP Deadline, their Prize will be forfeited and no alternative will be provided.

13. PUBLICITY AND PERSONAL DATA: If the Winner is asked by Arsenal to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the Draw, parental/guardian consent must be obtained for Arsenal to use the Winner's name and image and/or his/her comments relating to the Draw and/or the Prize for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid.

14. Subject to the relevant parental/guardian consent, details of the Winner’s name and county will be available on request for one month after the Closing Date by writing to Arsenal (including providing a stamped self-addressed envelope and stating the name and closing date of the Draw) at the address set out below. If Arsenal does not obtain parental/guardian consent to the Winner’s details being published or made available, Arsenal must still provide the Winner’s details to the Advertising Standards Authority on request in accordance with its legal obligation to evidence that a valid award of the Prize took place.

15. Arsenal will use entrants’ personal details for the purposes of administering the Draw and awarding the Prize. More information about how Arsenal handles personal data is available at www.arsenal.com/privacy-policy. Where consent has been provided, Arsenal may use the details to contact Entrants about Arsenal’s products and services in accordance with this privacy policy. If you do not wish to be contacted or to receive marketing information, you can opt out at any time by emailing marketing@arsenal.co.uk.

16. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Entries must not be submitted through agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed or incomplete entries, or for electronic entries or winning notifications that are not received or delivered (for any reason including as a consequence of communication or network failures). Any such entries will be deemed void.

17. Arsenal reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Draw or these Terms and Conditions if circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.

18. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to be invalid and the Prize will not be awarded in respect of such entry. Arsenal reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to exclude any entries which it believes to be invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

19. Arsenal’s decision is final in all matters relating to the Draw (including the Prize) and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. Except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from any negligence of Arsenal, to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Arsenal nor any of its officers, employees or agents shall be responsible for (whether in tort, contract or otherwise):

i. any loss, damage or injury to you and/or any third party or to any property belonging to you or any third party in connection with the Draw and/or the Prize (including the winner’s receipt or use of the same), resulting from any cause whatsoever; or

ii. any loss of profit, loss of use, loss of opportunity or any indirect, economic or consequential losses whatsoever and howsoever caused.

21. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: Please note that these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. This means that your entry into the Draw and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and Arsenal both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction in connection with any such dispute or claim.

22. SPIRIT OF THE DRAW: If you attempt to compromise the integrity or proper operation of the Draw by cheating or committing fraud in any way, Arsenal reserves the right to render your entry invalid, seek damages from you and ban you from participating in any of their future competitions.
