Paisley’s FREE Christmas Gingerbread Trail
As you are taking a stroll around town, lookout for our Gingerbread family!
Our Gingerbread family has got lost Christmas shopping in Paisley town centre – help find them all and you could win a prize! Running from Wednesday 30th November until Wednesday 4th January, pick up your trail leaflet from the Paisley First leaflet racks in the Paisley Centre or the Piazza Shopping Centre.
Don’t forget to try out our Gingerbread Selfie Throne and get this year’s must-have family Christmas picture on our Gingerbread Sleigh.
Santa’s Reindeer and Festive Street Entertainers
Come and meet Santa’s reindeer and take your own family picture for free! They’ll be in the town centre from 12noon until 4pm on Saturday 3rd December, Sunday 11th December, Sunday 18th December and Friday 23rd December.
Every weekend in December in the run up to Christmas, we’re also hosting free street performers with festive stilt-walkers, magicians, balloon modellers, face painters and much, much more!
Christmas Movies and Snow Globe
We’ll have some festive film favourites to help you get in the mood for the holiday season! Head to the Bungalow on Shuttle Street on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December for a special showing of Elf at 11am on Saturday and a Frozen Singalong on Sunday at 11am followed by everyone’s favourite festive tear-jerker, It’s a Wonderful Life at 3pm. Tickets must be booked in advance.
Also, that weekend on Shuttle Street, take your own family picture for free inside our beautiful Snow Globe! Available from 1030am until 430pm on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December.
Pop up Panto – Aladdin
The following weekend, why not join us for some fun with our Pop-up Panto Aladdin!
There’ll be two performances of Aladdin at Coats Venue on Saturday 17th December, choose from 2pm or 430pm. Book your tickets now.
Christmas Kids’ Ceilidh & Open Stage
There will also be a Christmas Kids’ Ceilidh & Open Stage at The Bungalow on Saturday 4th December.
No need to book in advance – just turn up on the day for a fantastic afternoon of fun, with a Kids’ Ceilidh at 1pm followed by an Open Stage from 3pm-6pm.
Christmas Storytelling Sessions
Or if you prefer a quieter activity, how about Christmas Storytelling Sessions at the Wynd Centre on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December from 12noon until 4pm.
These storytelling sessions are suitable for all ages. They’re free and unticketed – just drop in – sessions run from 12pm – 12.30pm, 1.45pm – 2.15pm, 2.30pm – 3pm and 3.15pm – 4pm.
