MAKE ME A WINNER LIVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Media Group: Competition General Terms & Conditions at: https://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/competition-general-terms-and-conditions (the “General Terms”).
Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.
ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME
Make Me A Winner Live running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).
ITEM 2: PROMOTER
Bauer Radio Limited, registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”)
ITEM 3: WEBSITE
The website shall be winhappy.me/townhall (the “Website”)
ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE, END DATE AND ENTRY PERIODS
Entry to the Competition will open and close as follows:
Start Date: Wednesday 13 December 2023 at 12:00pm
Paid Entry End Date: Wednesday 13 December at 12:30pm
Any entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid.
Please note that the Competition Entry Period as specified in these Competition terms and conditions are final and are not impacted by the time of broadcast of announcements advertising how to enter the Competition, which may in some circumstances be delayed.
ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS
After the start of the Competition, the prize (the “Prize”) will be announced on the Website. The Prize will be what the entrants are trying to win.
We reserve the right to announce the Prize at any time during the Competition.
After the Competition has closed, three entrants from all the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).
In order to win the Prize, the randomly selected entrant is expected to answer their phone and the first words they speak should be the Winning Phrase (“Make Me A Winner”), in order to be declared the winner.
If they give the correct Winning Phrase, they will win the Prize. We may ask an entrant to repeat or confirm their answer.
We reserve the right to award the Prize to any Entrant, regardless of whether or not they answer their phone or whether or not they say the Winning Phrase.
ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY, ENTRY LIMITS, AND COSTS
Entrants can enter the Competition once via the Website. Entry is free.
ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) are employees of Bauer Media Audio UK and (ii) are not directly involved with the administration of the Competition.
Entrants must enter using a valid UK mobile number.
All entrants must enter on their own behalf and may not enter on behalf of anyone else. If we later become aware that the person who played the competition was not the entrant themselves, we will disqualify this entrant and no prize will be payable to any persons involved.
ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
Entrants who are randomly selected will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. This will be during the Bauer Media Audio End of Year Townhall Teams Live event.
The name, team, photo and any video or audio recording of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s Website and / or social media platforms.
By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their name and location announced during the Teams Live event.
ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS
The Prize will be a cash amount that will be paid to the winner as part of their December 2023 pay.
The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.
ITEM 10: OTHER CONDITIONS
We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions, and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. If the disqualification occurs after a winner has been announced, one further entrant from all the valid entries of that Entry Period will be selected by automated random draw and awarded the Prize.
All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
