Overview
Valley Forge Casino Resort will be hosting a contest between charities for best decorated Holiday tree. Trees will be located in the Casino Lobby adjacent to the Front Desk. Trees will be decorated by local charities to raise awareness – all charities who participate will receive a donation. The amount of the donation depends on how many votes each receives. Any Boyd Rewards card holder can vote at any Promotional Kiosk on property or through voting on Valley Forge Casino Resort’s social media sites. Guests can vote once per day from 6:00 am EST on November 25 until end of the gaming day on December 11, 2024. Guests must be a Boyd Rewards card holder to vote on property. Check presentations will take place in the Casino on Thursday, December 19 at 11am.

All participants will receive $100 Visa Gift Card to purchase decorations.
Donations to the charities are as follows:
1st Place- $3,000 Donation Check
2nd Place - $2,000 Donation Check
3rd Place- $1,000 Donation Check
Each additional participant will receive a $500 Donation Check
Eligibility/Criteria
To be eligible, Boyd Rewards card holders must insert their Boyd Rewards card into any kiosk and vote for their favorite tree. Guests may also vote through a social media contest. The combined total votes on property and through social will determine which place a charity receives. Charities have been hand chosen by Valley Forge Casino Resort to participate in the contest. Trees will be decorated off-property.
Social Contest Rules:
When the contest starts, a contest microsite will be promoted on Boyd Gaming Corporation social media channels (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn). To vote, guests will visit the microsite. From the microsite, guests will click on their favorite charity tree to vote for it. Voting is limited to one vote per person, per day during the contest.
General Promotion Rules:
All entrants and finalists must be at least 21 years of age, present two forms of identification, one of which is a valid government issued ID (that includes a photo and/or physical description) and provide their Social Security Number (for tax purposes only) to claim prizes.
All Participants must be a Boyd Rewards card holder and have valid picture identification (driver’s license, state identification card, current passport, alien registration card or military identification card) in order to collect any prize.
Redeeming offers without playing with your Boyd Rewards card holder may result in removal from future offers.
Employees of Valley Forge Casino Resort, its related companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, plus their spouse, children, parents, siblings and anyone living in their household, are not eligible to participate.
Individuals whose name appears on the Pennsylvania State exclusion or self-exclusion lists are ineligible to participate.
Anyone formally evicted from the premises by Valley Forge Casino Resort, and all persons deemed ineligible per Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations are not eligible to participate.
Valley Forge Casino may disqualify any person for any prize based upon fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct whether or not related to this promotion.
All participants are deemed to grant permission to Valley Forge Casino Resort for promotional use of their names, photographs and identity.
By Participating in this event, participants agree to the terms.
A copy of the terms and any changes will be available at Boyd Rewards Club throughout the duration of the event.
If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes within or beyond the control of Boyd which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Boyd reserves the right, in its sole discretion without notice, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage or manipulate any program or equipment to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Boyd reserves the right to seek recourse against any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
Entries will be retained for record-keeping purposes in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
All winners agree to grant Boyd Gaming unconditional use of their name and likeness for promotional use without compensation, consideration, notice, review, or consent. As a condition of the redemption of any prize in this Promotion, each winner further agrees to execute an affidavit of eligibility, a publicity release and a liability release, in the form provided by Boyd Gaming.
Valley Forge Casino Resort is the sole judge of promotion rules and the awarding of prizes. All decisions by Valley Forge Casino Resort management are deemed final.
Valley Forge Casino Resort is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation, postponement or rescheduling of a Promotion. Valley Forge Casino Resort shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this Promotion is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance or execution of this Promotion impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
